Bina

With her background in modern, jazz, hip hop, and gymnastics, Binagirl feels most comfortable expressing herself as a bgirl. She started in the fall of 2000 and has been with the Sisterz of the Underground since their first show in January, 2001. She continued to performing and conducting workshops with the Sisterz until July 2001, when she moved to Japan.

Her battling experience includes Queen B 2001 E-Dub and N-R-G, Bboy Summit 2001 with E-Dub (2nd place in the bgirl compitition), Battle of the year in Japan with Team Oh (1st place), and Battle of the year 2001 in Germany with Team Oh (2nd place).

Binagirl took a little break from bgirling for a couple of years until she moved to Washington, DC in 2003 where she started teaching beginning bgirl classes at Joy of Motion dance studio. She really enjoyed teaching new upcoming bgirls who eventually started their own crew, DCBG. In the winter of 2005, Binagirl entered the Circles battle in Maryland with Onyx where they got second place in the Bonnie and Clyde competition. She has recently moved back to the Bay Area, reunited with the Sisterz, and joined the Extra Credit Crew.
